Celebrations Dance Center is a new kind of studio where stars are not only born, but also, raised and taught to shine. We strive to build self-confidence and self esteem in each and every child who walks through our doors. Our pride is in our dancers!
Celebrations Dance Center offers several diverse dance disciplines. Our curriculum includes a foundation in classical ballet, tap and jazz. In addition to these styles we offer contemporary, modern, lyrical, acrobatics, Irish step dancing, hip-hop and musical theater. Children are eligible to take classes starting at age two, an opportune time to foster their love of movement and music.
Both an art and a discipline, ballet is a classical dance style which employs both grace and precision of movement, using formalized steps and gestures in intricate flowing patterns to express emotion through dance. Ballet is offered at every level with ballet/pointe being offered to advanced students at the discretion of the instructor and Artistic Director.
Dancing performed by students wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, using rhythmic toe/heel step combinations. Students are taught timing through barre, center floor and across the floor combinations.
Contemporary dance draws on both modern and post modern dance as its source of inspiration. It often reflects the condition of the human spirit.

Traditional form of folkloric dance, which began in Ireland. Students learn rapid foot and leg movement while exhibiting a controlled, but not stiff, upper body. Often students will begin in black ballet shoes, progress to Ghillie shoes and at the discretion of the instructor “hard shoes”.
Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context.
